Producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Dakota Hodge has been making music since he first sat behind a drum kit at three years old. After years honing his warm sonic palette and a congenial temperament in Nashville's songwriting community, he brings a deeply collaborative spirit to every session.
Now based in Los Angeles, California, Dakota blends polished pop production with emotionally driven songwriting, pairing radio-ready melodies with indie rock's textured authenticity. Inspired by the melodic precision of Ryan Tedder and Dan Nigro, and the expansive production of The 1975 and Switchfoot, he lets natural instinct lead his sessions. Beginning simply with a drum groove and a guitar, Dakota lets his ear and intuition shape honest ideas into records that are both emotionally resonant and immediately accessible.
