David Gagliardi is a versatile guitarist, songwriter, arranger, musical director, and producer whose dynamic, cross-genre approach moves fluidly between live performance and studio work. Most recently, he lent guitar and co-writing to Lola Leon’s “T Shirt,” alongside Samuel Burgess (Sam-E) and Sega Bodega, bringing his work into the orbit of one of music’s most recognizable creative families as Leon—daughter of Madonna—steps into a new chapter under her own name.

As an original member of the Odd Future signed punk band Trash Talk, he was an obvious choice for the band behind A$AP Rocky’s recent Saturday Night Live performance supporting his album Don’t Be Dumb, adding to a growing body of work that places him alongside some of today’s most visible artists.

Gagliardi’s work spans alternative, rock, pop, and experimental music, shaped in part by his affinity for ’90s British rock. His collaborators include Azealia Banks, YG, DIIV, Pretty Sick, Binki, Lolahol, Diana Gordon, Nora Chipaumire, Brady Watt, and Candy. Across each project, Gagliardi brings an adaptable sensibility and distinct musical perspective to the work.
